Camp Kesem at the University of Cincinnati's fourth year of camp is looking a little different this year. While we aren't at a campsite or sitting around a campfire together, the Kesem magic is still with us. This website contains information for Kesem at Home. What is Kesem at Home?
Kesem at Home is a program designed to allow children impacted by a parent’s cancer the opportunity to build connections and relationships, provide avenues for self-expression and reflection, and to have fun with other kids who are going through similar experiences. This is a virtual program that brings the support of Kesem to the homes of our campers, where they will participate in interactive activities and discussions with other campers and their counselors, as well as activities they can take offline to complete by themselves or with their family. Kesem at Home programming will be offered through the University of Cincinnati and the national level. The University of Cincinnati's Kesem at Home programming will include a unique schedule entirely planned, developed and led by the University of Cincinnati's student leaders. Campers must apply to take part in chapter programming. Instructions to register are here. Kesem at Home national programming will feature twice weekly live and recorded online activities, social media engagement opportunities, and offline activities for campers and constituents to enjoy all summer long. There is no registration required for Kesem at Home national programming. Learn more about Kesem national programming here.
